Class Placement Requests

Monday, June 29 is the deadline to share any information about your child's learning style, personality, or specific educational needs that may be helpful in the classroom placement process for the 2020-2021 school year.

Please understand that several other factors such as boy/girl ratio are also considered. Therefore a request for a specific teacher is not guaranteed.

All requests must be sent in writing to by Monday, June 29 to be considered. No verbal conversations or voicemail messages will be accepted.

Requests are valid for one year only. Any requests made in prior school years are considered obsolete.

Dear St. Peter Families,

Recently, I was offered the 8th grade teacher and technology position at St. John, Fraser. Through much prayer and deliberation, I have decided to accept the position at St. John. My time and ministry at St. Peter has been a blessing. I have been honored to serve the Lord with amazing teachers and staff. Most of all, God has graced me with families and students that I will remember as friends in Christ our Savior.

In Him,

Mr. Phil Wargo

You may still order through Scrip Now for e-gift cards or add balances to your re-loadable cards!

July 20-24 - 9:30 AM start each day via livestream! Mystery Island! Make your home and yard a mystery island that week and join us for the fun!

We will be collaborating and teaming up with our friends at Immanuel Lutheran Macomb this year to bring you VBS...virtually!

Each day will start at 9:30a with a live stream video of songs, skits, themed snacks to make together, activities and fun. The world is different, but we will still have a great time uncovering the mystery of our One True God, Jesus.

This is a great opportunity to invite your neighbors and friends to join you in this new adventure of VBS (as you do so, please continue safe guidelines and measures in place at the time).

Registration is required to get the materials, links to the videos and for t-shirt orders.  The t-shirts will be ordered at the beginning of July and will be available for safe pickup at Immanuel the week prior. Register by June 30 to get your t-shirt ordered. We will not order extras.

Any questions please email Lisa Ventimiglio at or call 586-405-9272.

Tributes for Mr. Hoch & Mr. Streeter

Dear friends and family at St. Peter,

These are unprecedented times we are experiencing. Things are changing from day to day. A big change is coming to St. Peter with the retirement of two of our school staff. We would not want to let the retirement of Mr. Bob Hoch and Mr. Kim Streeter go without celebrating.

While the Bd of Ed is planning a celebration with dates and details to be determined, Mrs. Washburn would like to put together a scrapbook from everyone of all ages for both gentlemen.

Photos, prayers, poems, thank you letters, etc. will be collected. Messages can also be recorded and will be compiled into a video for each man. You can send them to

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the necessary clinic response in taking extra precautions to protect staff and patients at the Luke Project 52 Clinic, their use of Lysol/Clorox wipes and exam gloves has skyrocketed.

The online sources for ordering these supplies are now taking advantage of the situation by doubling and tripling their normal charges. The staff has been checking their local stores daily but is still having difficulty finding what they need. If you have access to any of these supplies at normal prices, please let Rev. Brad Garrison know and he will arrange a pickup. You can contact him at

Wigs-4-Kids - Our May Wigs-4-Kids event has been cancelled.   With that said, please do not stop growing your hair!  Our cut-a-thon will be held sometime this summer or in the fall. The need for wigs for children suffering from serious illnesses is still great.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Brandt.  Thank you!

The shifts are from 8:00 AM-Noon and Noon-3:00 PM but we can be flexible if you're able to put in any time at all. Also, please feel free to work the whole day if you'd like. The Reception Desk is a great way to get your Service Hours while reading a book or paying your bills, etc. We truly appreciate your help!
